Narrow, upright evergreen shrub usually used as a hedge.

Average Height

To 3-4m (can be kept as low as 1m).


Narrow, small and oval shaped. New growth has a bright cherry red colour that fades to green as they age.


Full Sun to part shade and will tolerate wind.

Flowers and Fruit

Yellow/cream fluffy flowers usually followed by a pink to blue coloured berries (edible but not very fleshy).


Small to medium hedge, as a small to medium tree, in native gardens, for bird attracting purposes and as a wind break.
