This form of Buxus makes a great hedge as it has tight box foliage. Slower growing meaning less maintenance, this shrub looks great all year round. Will grow well in most soil type. Light pruning of the sided of the head will promote height in the hedge. Also makes great topiaries. Once established can be shaped into many different features inlcuding spirals, cones, domes and pointers. Requires regular water when first planted but once established can tolerate drought |
